Framed in Australia
Made to order, ready to hang
Framed prints are hand-made to order in Sydney and arrive ready to hang. Choose from three gallery frames:
Raw oak brings warmth and suits coastal and golden-hour images.
White is light and gallery-like, and works in bright rooms.
Black is graphic and modern, and gives colour images extra contrast.
Unframed prints ship worldwide, rolled in a protective tube, ready for your local framer.
Sizing chart
How big is each size?
Each framed size shown above a 220 cm three-seat sofa, to scale. Unframed prints come in the same sizes, with 120 × 180 cm in place of 110 × 160. A3 and A2 are also available.
Framing questions
Sizes and frames
What sizes are available?
Framed: A3, A2, 60 × 90, 80 × 120 and 110 × 160 cm. Unframed: A3, A2, 60 × 90, 80 × 120 and 120 × 180 cm. Each print's page has a sizing chart showing every size above a sofa, to scale.
How big should I go?
Over a sofa, bed or sideboard, aim for a print about two-thirds the width of the furniture. On an empty wall, larger usually looks better than you expect. Mark the size out with painter's tape first to get a feel for it.
Do framed prints include a mat?
[Confirm with Frameshop: whether a mat or border is included, and its width.]
What is the glazing?
UV-resistant Perspex, with acid-free backing behind the print. The frames are 2 cm wide and 4 cm deep (3 cm wide and 4.5 cm deep on 110 × 160 cm).
How do I hang it?
Framed prints arrive ready to hang. Hang the centre of the print at around 145 to 155 cm from the floor, which is roughly eye level.
How long does framing take?
[Confirm: production plus delivery time for framed orders.]
